Dartslive home board with online play?
Just a tidbit I found. Guess they are still doing well

Quote:These days Sega Enterprises is known as Sega Corporation, and is a subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings. It remains and endures, but as a much-changed organisation. It is now famous primarily for its software, and presides over a glittering catalogue that includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Football Manager, Yakuza, Total War and many other best-selling titles. The company's financial outlook is also positive; it posted a net income of ¥41.5 billion last year - around £338 million - and it ranks as one of the largest publishers of video game software in the world.

Dartslive doesn't have an online dartboard for home use.

Because sitting at home with a bunch of guys, playing darts and drinking package liquor is something I would have did in High School. I have VDarts. I practice on it and Gran board. Not the same atmosphere.

I don't drink in my house or keep liquor at my house. I drink at the bar.

I was told by the man that owns the Dartslive boards in my area that Sega no longer owns it. Maybe I misunderstood him. He's in Memphis playing a tourney. I'll find out more when he returns.

Going to a bar where there's excess noise and over priced drinks are not my bag either.  But to play online with dartslive it's a necessary evil I have to deal.

I hVe been told in the last 2 days, that you can lease a vsphoenix and put it in your home to play online tourneys and leagues for $150 per month.  I'll have to look into that more when I have time.

That's actually not too bad considering.  You get the full experience this way.  Neither companies would consider that in Oz.
