Just pull them and chamfer the barrel VERY slightly with a small drill bit ( held in your hand ) then they will fit nice and tight

I thought about that but I didn't want to alter the barrels in the event I needed to go back to standard points. More aesthetics for me.

Its a very tiny amount to clear the radius at the base of the storms, less than a mm but enough to let them sit flush

4 or 5 mm, you are looking at twisting the drill in the hole by hand to leave a tiny shiny ring around the hole in the barrel where the point fit's just enough to remove the sharp shoulder.
