24gm Also throw 22gm. so 23gm would be okay, too. I'd consider 25gm. I've noticed that my Purist Phase 2's feel heavier than my VvdV's and Dragons, so balance does play a part.

Second JayKay's take. No robinhoods at all, no broken stems. I haven't experienced any problems punching flights and I've done a bunch of different manufacturers, thicknesses, etc.

I think it has to do with the visual image. The dartboard seems to just focus my eye on the bull because of all those lines converging on it.

I used aluminum for years because I just throw at home and I didn't know there was anything else since aluminum came with the darts. Heck, if anything, I thought the nylon/plastic was a cheap knockof...

Works that way for me with golf. Need to walk and hit, walk and hit...not walk, stand, kibitz, wait, then try to hit.

Sorry, it wasn't meant to be about the shape. I was meant to be about the orientation -- straight up an down or diagonal at release. I was assuming perfect "+" of 90 degrees of the flight.
