It's weird but I started with 24g and went down to 23g then 22g. Moved back to 24g and have kept moving up the weights. I now throw 30g and am playing better than ever. I just don't feel in control...

it's always annoyed me a little to be honest. I felt like the player is gaining an advantage by being part way down the oche before releasing. Thinking about it though it's probably a disadvantage.

Same here. After 2 years of using Cosmo flights/stems I have reverted to normal aluminium stems and basic kite flights. Just wish I could get aluminium stems at around 18mm.
