Yeah, they can snap like everything else. Problem is carbon fiber is brittle. It's strong but doesn't have any bend or flex. I had L Style carbon (the old style) before and snapped a bunch of them...

It could be a lot worse, I had friends in the military that were right handed/left eye dominant...now picture having this and trying to shoot a rifle with both eyes open on your right shoulder.
