Oh, my wife wouldn't be happy if I told him what he could do with his wedding. LOL
avatar
Tell them to Zoom chat it
avatar
Oh, believe me, I feel the same way. I'm just hoping the wife changes her mind when the turnaround time comes close to being a reality. She started talking like she was reconsidering earlier today because this is not going to be any pleasure trip but a "get there, watch them get married, get back home" and to the tune of a 1200 mile round trip.
avatar
Not to be an arse, but a bit selfish of your in-law having a wedding/social gathering at this time.
avatar
Actually, it's in Dahlonega, GA. I've been up that way several times on my motorcycle to ride in the mountains near the Chattahoochee National Forest. Beautiful area with great roads.
avatar
Oh and getting married twice in the same weekend too lol
avatar
Hopefully you can catch up on the darts and football later,it never rains but it pours

Calhoun Georgia
avatar
Yep, that is exactly how I feel right now. My wife wants to go even though it's drive all day Friday, wedding Saturday and drive all day Sunday to get back home----AND having to drive through Atlanta is NO FUN on any day.

Not only the darts, but the college football playoff games on Friday that will determine which 2 teams head to the National Championship game later in the month.
avatar
Unforgivable - lol
avatar
Meaning I'll miss the quarterfinals and finals....................365 days in a year and this redneck wants to get married on Jan. 2 in the mountains of N. Georgia. That boy never was too smart.
avatar
Got my coffee, cranked on the computer and was all set for some darts and remembered they are off today. And my stupid brother-in-law is getting married for the 2nd time this weekend and the wife wants to attend putting us on the road all day Friday to get there, and all day Sunday to get back home. Inconsiderate bastage.!!!!!!!

So, you're saying those awards have about as much acclaim as when Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, won Glamour Magazine's Woman Of The Year Award in 2015
avatar
not sure that's such a great honour now - just seen some of the other awards and Lewis Hamilton has been knighted and Craig David given an MBE just because he decided to try and make a comeback!!!
avatar
congratulations to Barry Hearn who has been awarded an OBE in the New Years Honours list for services to sport - https://www.pdc.tv/news/2020/12/30/pdc-c...warded-obe
