Can you picture Part on horseback???? Yeah, he just doesn't fit my conception of the Mountie profile, but then again all I know about the Mounties is what I saw watching "Sgt. Preston" on TV as a kid.
Sooo, there was somewhat of a method to that madness. I was wondering just how that name came about but I did know it was an obvious Star Wars reference, although I'm by no means a Star Wars fan. I think I saw the very first one and none since.
The new star wars had come out darth maul had red & black face so they went with darth maple cause he had a black maple leaf on his shirt
Oh, I understand using the maple leaf since it is the Canadian flag symbol, but that whole "Darth" thing is kind of weird in my way of thinking. I'm thinking he could have used "Maple Syrup" since it looks like he may love pancakes-----a lot.
Yes a Canadian using a Maple Leaf is so odd, be almost as odd as an American using an Eagle
How about John "Darth Maple" Part? I always thought that was a pretty odd nickname too. My favorite is Andy "The Pie Man" Smith. He does look like he indulges in pies.
