They are usually close to $3 a lb. but now they are $1.90 a lb. and we usually don't see that price until after Easter Sunday.

Crawfish season has been great this year with such a mild winter. Lowest prices this time of year for live by the sack in the last several years.

Boiling a sack of crawfish this Saturday. Getting a 35 lb. sack of the mudbugs and boiling them with potatoes, corn, onions, celery, garlic, lemon, mushrooms and sausage in the very highly seasoned water of the boil pot.

I'll hit the freezer in the man cave and take out someting already prepared to defrost for tonight since I cook in volume and freeze a lot of it for later use and not have to be in the kitchen every day preparing meals.

Eating leftovers today. I made shrimp stuffed bell peppers for last night's meal and had that with a rich red gravy over vermicelli with grated parmesan cheese atop it and steamed some fresh asparagus to go with it.

there were a few non-availables, but the alternatives I was given were more than acceptable - I actually got the milk, bread, meat and veg I ordered though so now sorted until I have to go out next Friday for my blood pressure pills Smile
